Event Details

It is time to better understand the Swedish and Indian AI and Digitalization Ecosystems and how they benefit from each other!

AI and Digitalization are transforming the global landscape of innovation, showing excellent productivity potential across industries. Sweden and India are today world leaders in driving this process with complementary and synergistic strengths.

Sweden-India Business Council are organizing this event as a result of many years having worked closely with our partners, large corporates through the India Sweden Business Leaders’ Roundtable (ISBLRT), members across industries and of course the startups in Sweden India Tech Community (SITEC). This in addition to the work being done through initiatives combining both but also including government agencies and academia, like the Sweden India Transport Innovation and Safety partnership (SITIS).

“We have a strong belief in inclusive collaborative models and this summit brings together leading actors in Sweden and India to chart a vision for the future. Large multinational corporations, innovative startups, investors, incubators, academia, media and governmental bodies will join forces. We hope you will join too!”, says Robin Sukhia, SIBC’s President and Secretary General.

“Together we’re stronger and Gothenburg also holds a special place in my heart having both lived and studied in this city. Being on the west coast, warm and vibrant, I also find similarities with Mumbai where I live today. Here’s to a the very first edition of ´Sweden India AI & Digitalization Summit´ – and to connecting Gothenburg!”, adds Cecilia Oldne, SIBC’s SVP, India representative, Investor and Sweden India Tech Community, SITEC’s Tribe Leader.

“AI & Digitalization” cross cut all sectors. On this day we discuss use cases in transport, health, industry and logistics. It is a great way to understand how this can help us leapfrog our way of doing business. It is also perfect having the Summit in Gothenburg, where so many of our partners are located and the where so much cutting edge R&D is taking place”, states Arati Davis, Sweden-India Business Council’s Senior Vice President and Head of the Sweden India Transport Safety and Innovation platform, SITIS.
